About Us
Terra Art Gallery is run by a dedicated and passionate team of artists, event planners, marketing specialists, curators, and IT professionals (Event-Crew Australia), aiming to promote local art onsite and online and to connect artists with art collectors.
We aim to exhibit a colourful collection of artworks created in various styles, techniques, and themes and to run quality workshops for a wide audience. We showcase paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramics and jewellery – all sourced from the treasure chest of the Illawarra region. It is also our mission to collaborate with expert tutors, – facilitating fun and efficient workshops for kids and adults. Our main motivation is to create a vibrant and ever-changing space for exhibitions, events and art competitions and to facilitate a safe, welcoming and supportive space for arts to flourish.
We choose the name “Terra”, because it means Earth in Latin and we all have a deep appreciation for nature, beauty, expression, story – art, that makes us feel human. Only good things come out of the Earth, it’s our mother, our globe, our homes, it’s a whole, it’s the living ground that feeds life. It’s balance, life energy and creative spirit.
We hope that this will be a wonderful journey for all our artists and our community.
