Sara Handmade Jewellery is a project born out of love. We have a passion for gems, creation and life on the South Coast. For a jeweller looking for inspiration, there is no better place than Kiama. The natural beauty in our gemstones and our surrounds, never ceases to amaze us. Sara Handmade Jewellery is our expression of this so that we can share it with you.
Sara’s foray into the world of gems and jewellery began in a retail chain store in Sydney. It ignited a passion and she went on to study Gemmology at the Gemmological Association of Australia. While studying Sara worked for a coloured gem merchant as well as a pearl wholesaler shortly after.
At Sara Handmade Jewellery we have an eye for detail, an eye for sourcing the most amazing gemstones and a passion for turning them into beautiful jewellery. A Gemmologist by trade, Sara knows how and where to find the most unique gems with that special sparkle.
Amazing diamonds, Beautiful Australian and Sri Lankan sapphires, pigeon blood rubies from Myanmar, Nigerian tourmalines in almost any colour imaginable and many other gems help us accommodate all tastes. At Sara Handmade Jewellery we only use the finest materials to complement our exquisite designs. Rose, yellow or white gold available in 9 and 18 carat, or platinum, will make your piece last an eternity.
Our store is situated at the ‘West End’ of Terralong Street in the beautiful seaside town of Kiama. Our clients range from local, Wollongong & the Illawarra, South Coast as well as Sydney and beyond. Appointments for meetings on custom work are recommended and can be made after hours and via video link.
