Bienvenidos a AMONA. We are a family owned & operated restaurant. AMONA Pintxos & Tapas Bar offers a variety of traditional Tapas dishes meant to be shared with friends & loved ones. AMONA is a living tribute to Carmen Azabal Martin (1930-2002), our beloved Mother & Grandmother, her recipes are the foundation upon we create all the food we cook in our kitchen.
Our loved Basque Country & Spain in general, have individually & collectively provided the inspiration, the passion & the legacy of our humble cuisine. Our aim is to promote the opportunity amongst our customers to participate in the full Spanish experience tasting not only Spanish foods but also Spanish Beers & Wines.

Spain’s traditional appetizers include Jamón Serrano, a cured ham, chorizo, a seasoned sausage and cheeses. Meats and Seafood are also popular choices as mains. Bread accompanies all meals. Olive oil and garlic are common ingredients in most of our dishes.
Spain is also known for its wines, including the Rioja, made in the Northern Province; sherry, a fortified wine that may be dry or sweet; and sangria, wine mixed with fruit soft drink.
The best-known Spanish dish, a stew called paella originates in Valencia, an eastern province on the Mediterranean Sea. Rice is the main ingredient. There are numerous variations, which includes shellfish, chorizo, chicken, pork and vegetables.
Spain’s best-known dessert is flan, crème caramel.
