Owned and operated by The Hungry Monkey duo Jack Alexander and Taylor Hudson, Lazy Daze is a new-to-market offering which prides itself in producing handcrafted cold-pressed juices free from pathogens, additives, and preservatives, whilst retaining the highest nutritional value of each ingredient.
Selecting whole fruits and vegetables that are sourced from local suppliers around NSW, Lazy Daze ingredients combined with their state-of-the-art cold-pressed equipment, ensures that every bottle remains fresh, delicious, and nutritious.
Today’s juicing is all about the extraction process. Unlike other common methods of juicing, there’s no heating involved with cold press, helping to preserve the vitamins and minerals for our body to enjoy.
The process of cold pressing involves grinding and pulverising vegetables and fruit as much as possible, before applying excessive pressure via a hydraulic press to squeeze out every last drop of juice.
We purposely produce in small batches to maintain all the nutrients extracted from the fruits and vegetables. It’s really the juice your body deserves and what’s better, it’s produced proudly on the South Coast. More specifically in Berry behind The Hungry Monkey store off Prince Alfred Street.
Currently there are three different types of juices available, with the addition of at least one new summer flavour in the works.
We know the process involved with producing high-quality cold-pressed juice because it’s on our menu at all The Hungry Monkey stores. Selling and serving fresh juice can be costly, messy, and often wasteful, and that’s where Lazy Daze comes into the picture.
We simply wanted to eliminate the hassle for other vendors. We spotted a gap in the market and just went for it!
In everything that we commit to, our passion has always been to produce the best product possible and that’s no different when it comes to Lazy Daze.
We have so much respect for the cafes that we currently supply including Clay Coffee in Gerringong, Bean Roasted in Shellharbour and Calderwood, Uncle Earl’s in Wollongong just to name a few. They’re incredible operators and they deliver such delicious coffee and food, that we feel like our juices compliment their menus.
Expect a laid-back, fun, vibrant and youthful option that is equal parts nutritious, delicious, and cool!
