Balinese Spice Magic Restaurant and Catering

Our vision at Balinese Spice Magic is to bring the spirit of Bali to the heart of Wollongong by sharing the magic of traditional Balinese food and spice mixes with you.  We will strive to create a vibrant, connected community by supporting our local growers, celebrating culture and looking after our environment.

Awakening the 5 senses
Our goal is to create a space where people can enjoy the spirit of Bali through the five senses.  The flavours presented on your plate will awaken your taste buds to new culinary experiences. The smell of the incense from the daily offerings, the sound of the Gamelan music, the touch of the batik sarong and the sight of the bamboo decorations will fill you with the spirit of Bali during your dining experience. We strive to give people an authentic Balinese experience while dining with us.

Sourcing the freshest produce
We try hard to source our produce from local sources. Our home permaculture garden provides bountiful resources for the restaurant, such as sugar cane, kaffir lime leaves, eggs and greens. We supplement this with local produce from the Urban Grown Sustainable Farm in Warrawong run by Green Connect. We also encourage bartering with our customers if they have excess produce from their home gardens.

Celiac, Vegan (and anything else) friendly
We cater for all dietary requirements. The majority of dishes at Balinese Spice Magic are gluten free. We also have a number of vegan options on the menu. Please talk to the Chef if you have any special requests.
