October seems to be the month of festivals, with another awesome one happening in Port Kembla on the 5th. Live music, roving puppeteers, visual effects, markers and food stalls… sounds fantastic!

PROST // Oktoberfest
Boy, we sure do love celebrating this German festival in the Illawarra. The uber-adored annual Oktoberfest at the German Club is on again for 3 days. Aaaand this year, some other local venues are also hosting fab-sounding events like TBH, Kiama Leagues Club, Reub Goldberg Brewing Machine and Georgia Rose. Learn more about what’s happening and when here.

FLOWER POWER // 34th Berry Gardens Festival
Seven private gardens around Berry will be opening their gates to visitors. Admire the gorgeous work of locals and help raise money for charity in the process.
