The Fold’s Post Lockdown Bucket List

It’s On Like Donkey Kong, People!

We’re pretty excited about life getting back to some sort of normal on Monday 11 October and can’t wait to head out with friends and family.

For the last eight weeks, we’ve been percolating on all the awesome things we’ve missed about daily life in the Illawarra, so when we got the go ahead from Gladys / Dom / whoever, we did an office poll of the team’s bucket list items and made a list of some of our must do’s and must visit’s.

Of course, this is following Covid Safe rules and at the moment venues are open to fully vaccinated residents only.

Oh, and residents of the Wollongong and Shellharbour LGA’s can’t crossover into the Kiama LGA until we’re at 80% fully vaxxed [which everyone is hoping by 25 October] and vice versa [although a regional MP has released a press statement overnight 7 October saying we can – sooooo fricken confusing, right? We’re on the case and checking to see if that is indeed the case – we’ll keep you posted!]

So let’s mask up, keep our distance and make life as easy as we can for the businesses who will be relying on us to follow the rules – they’ve had it tough enough as it is, right?

So, let’s get to it!

Here’s our list of must do’s….yeah baby!

Oh wow! That’s a list and a half. We’re going to be busy bees and we are sooooo here for that.

We’re on the home stretch and it feels soooo good, right? Not 100% out of the woods yet but certainly on our way.

In the meantime, eat, drink and be merry [safely]!
