It’s nearly time to ring in the New Year!
If you are lucky enough to be spending the Christmas period in Kiama, you have timed your stay tremendously with the biggest New Year’s Eve fireworks show on the South Coast!
Kiama’s NYE Sky Show is staged each year over Kiama Harbour, spectators gather around the natural amphitheatre and enjoy the electric atmosphere, with a kid’s carnival, epic food stalls, live music, games and roving performers all providing entertainment throughout the evening before the fireworks spectacular at the family-friendly time of 9 pm.
Start your afternoon from 4 pm and witness (or have a go!) the ‘circus dropzone’ in adjacent Hindmarsh Park, appreciate accoustic live music on the stage at Black Beach, followed by a live DJ to crank the party vibes, sit back on your rug or deck chair and enjoy lots of laughs and funtastic entertainment cruising the crowds, plus WAVE FM’s Wave Riders will be paying a visit with lawn games, as well as the kid’s favourite Laurie’s Kiama Family Carnival (coming to Kiama for over 60yrs), while WAVE FM announcer, emcee, entertainer and all-round character, Jade, will be coming to you live from the foreshore, making sure we don’t miss the count in for the biggest and best fireworks south of Sydney!
Delight in a range of food stalls as you explore Eat Street on Terralong and Sweet Street on Shoalhaven Streets, as they supplement the existing chic cafes and restaurants in our vibrant hub of Kiama.
Pack a picnic blanket or deck chair and bring your family and friends down to the Kiama Harbour Foreshore for the ultimate viewing experience.
