Meet Myla, an amazing and resilient 6 year old member of our Kiama community. Myla is just one of thousands of Australians living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), a genetic condition which primarily affects the lungs and digestive system, and requires lifelong intensive medical treatment.
Research into CF has extended life expectancy and increased quality of life for many people with the disease, however there is still much more work to be done to cure CF and ensure bright futures for those suffering from it.
We are proud to support the Mission for Myla, as we host a fundraiser lunch this Friday (the 26th of July).
From 11:30am – 3pm our Fundraiser Menu will be:
Fish Cakes w/ Salad
Blue Grenadier w/ Chips and Salad
Jason’s Seafood Chowder w/ Toasted Sourdough
Lamb Kofta Roll
All items are $15, and 100% of sales (plus any money you wish to donate) will go to the Cure4 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a registered not-for-profit charity for which Myla’s mum Kristen Sheaff is a Community Ambassador. Cure4CF funds promising medical research across the nation with the goal of ending the devastation of CF.
Signing up to this list may just be the best decision you’ve ever made.
We’ll send you an email each week with what’s on around Illawarra. New local businesses to support. Things to do. Places to see. All the good stuff to get you out and about, livin’ the good life.
