Birding For Beginners aims to engage a broad audience in the diverse world of birds, birding and conservation. Presented in a casual and enjoyable setting, these workshops allow anyone with an interest in birds to become familiar with the fascinating diversity of birds found in Sydney and the Illawarra.
The conservation of wild areas and the wildlife that inhabit these areas is a key component of any of our tours. Ecotourism is an effective tool in conservation, by providing jobs and an income to residents within and surrounding natural habitats. Where possible, we hire local site guides to facilitate wildlife conservation. A portion of funds generated from each tour is set aside and donated to effective conservation initiatives.
