Our Philosophy
We aim to expand the development of individuals to become limitless, healthy, and confident,. Children and adults alike build self-respect while receiving physical, emotional, and mental education. Above all, we assist our students in discovering their unique talents. We teach them how to build upon their strengths as well as their weaknesses.
Karate training for children is hugely beneficial and encourages children to take the opportunities that present themselves throughout their life. The benefits to the student stretch far beyond the dojo, benefiting the future of local communities.

When Senseis Paul and Justine moved to Australia they wanted to continue teaching Kimura Shukokai. and with the blessing and encouragement of the Kimura Shukokai World Chief Instructors, they started teaching Kimura Shukokai Karate in Sydney in 2014. In 2018 the Samurai Dojo Australia Honbu Dojo (headquarters) was relocated to Thirroul, NSW.
