After 15 years as a teacher and educational leader, in both public and private schools, I followed the teenage dream of practising law. My two worlds combine beautifully to educate you on the importance of a modern estate plan through plain English explanations of complex legal concepts.
I am a mother of adult children in their 20s and grandmother of two toddlers who delight me with their way of looking at the world. I am a working class girl from Port Kembla, Wagga Wagga and Beechworth – call me a gypsy child who loves her 80s music. My silver wedding anniversary is rapidly approaching – a relationship I think influenced by my being a child of a blended family – I value listening, talking things through and making memories.
Care – Compassion – Collaboration
Personally and professionally I have witnessed the devastating impact poorly drafted Wills can have on families. I practise pre-emptive law, that is, I want to work with you to come up with an estate plan that minimises potential conflict and dispute through careful consideration of the unique circumstances that make up your world. I have the life experience and empathy to listen to your hopes and fears, whilst turning your attention to areas of your estate that will surprise you are so important. It is likely we will have a good laugh too – I hope you don’t mind a little bit of dark humour!
