The Doctors of Shellharbour Medical Centre work in Partnership with the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Medicine mentoring students and assist where appropriate with Research through the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute; a joint initiative of the University of Wollongong and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.
Currently the Practice is supporting two Medical Registrars in their Professional clinical placement and studies.
