Founded in 1997, Planet Early Childhood Learning Centre has an educational Pre-School and ‘Transition to School’ program for children aged 2-6 years. Our focus is ‘Learning through Play’ and we encourage friendships and environmental awareness. We aim to actively promote the education of children in our care in accordance with the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), the National Quality Framework, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Learn Through Play
Planet Early Childhood Learning Centre provides a unique educational experience for the children in our community. We adopt a hands-on approach to discovering and ‘giving back’ the world around us. Our Educators facilitate daily excursions with the children to see places and people in our community. Planet also engages in the ‘Transition to School’ program with Coledale School, where our older children are given the most authentic induction to Primary School as possible. Activities include utilising the school’s: Library, the Garden, the Whale Watching platform, the Eco Frog ponds and we even have our own vegetable patch on the school grounds.
